Hey All,

Please excuse the recent dead time on the site, I’ve been focusing and working every hard on finishing up my Bachelor’s for Business Management.  I’m also now going to be almost immediately starting my Masters program, and as such will likely be somewhat distracted over the coming months; however, with some newfound time to sit down and work on things, I will be spending some time in the coming days upgrading the PGen forums, and the software that runs this website.

I’m also hoping to see some changes made with regards to site -> forum interaction.  I know there is a bridge out there that can bridge the software running this site to the software running PGen’s forums, and I’m strongly considering utilizing that to improve this site exponentially in terms of news posting and on-site interaction.  This will also make it incredibly easy to establish the many portions of the PGen Website I have waited years to put into place.  If this manages to materialize properly, we could be looking at a whole new PGen (I know, those of you that have been here for a while also know, that this very statement has been mentioned before, and I’m hoping there’s a lot more credence to it this time around…).

Desperately hoping to have more news for you all soon!

Update 11/14/08: While the forum software has still to be upgraded, the software used to run this site has been upgraded to the latest version.  This doesn’t offer any significant features to note, more back-end security fixes; however, this is an important step forward for PGen in our attempt to get back into the world of the living.
